Extended Appro system
- West Midland Optical offers an extended appro stocking system to all optical practices in Ireland. The purpose of the system is to give new and existing practices and pharmacies stock, free of charge, in order to help them with their cash flow.
- The Opticians/Pharmacies can choose which models they want for the extended appro.
- West Midland will give up to 200 frames or Ready readers to a practice/Pharmacy and come back every 2 months to check the stock. At this stage they will then be invoiced for only the frames that have been sold. The frames will then be replaced to bring the stock levels back to where they originally were. On the reps 2 monthly visit to the store the option is also open to choose new models from our collection of over 1500 models.
Glazing Laboratory
- West Midland Optical have a fully equipped modern glazing laboratory where we can both surface and edge lenses. The Optician also has the option to order complete frame and lens packages, which offer even better value. All that is required is to fax/mail/phone the frame and lens details and the complete package will leave our lab the very same day (depending on the prescription)
- West Midland, as an independent laboratory can offer lenses from Essilor, Kodak, Rodenstock, Zeiss-Sola and Hoya as well as any other major lens company. We also offer a full prescription sunglass collection from own brand through Pepe Jeans, Ted Baker and our sports range Julbo.
Macushield
West Midland Optical is the licence holders in Ireland for Macushield. This is a food supplement which is used to help combat the eye disease Age Related Macular Degeneration (AMD). For further information click on our link at www.macushield.ie. |
