West Midland Optical (WMO) is Ireland’s largest wholesaler of quality eyewear products. Now under new management, following a buyout by the senior management sales team in 2005, WMO is expanding with a range of new products and services.
Based in a new facility in Dublin, including a state of the art Rodenstock Approved Laboratory, the new team at WMO offer a seamless service to customers through their distribution system of quality designer and own branded products and fast turn around laboratory service.
WMO was founded 25 years ago. Since then the team has been researching global trends in quality eyewear and sourcing the most cost effective products for the Irish and UK markets.
WMO also understands the needs of consumers and delivers the most innovative, fashionable eyewear to the retail trade in particular Independent Opticians, groups and major department stores in Ireland and the UK with which they have developed a strong relationship.
Since the buyout WMO has secured the distributorship of Rip Curl, Fila and Rodenstock and the agencies in Ireland for Police, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Nautica, Givenchy and Ted Baker to add to their growing product portfolio of designer and own brand products.
